Outrage is a good thing. It means you still care. For my daily outrage, stop by when you can.

Priorities People
But then I started thinking more about the stranded -- maybe some of these people had no choice - coming home from jobs that were essential - or they would have lost pay if they didn't go in. How do we define essential work in this day and age? Why doesn't someone grill employers who are more interested in making a dollar than protecting the safety of their workers? Or the self-employed who decide to risk it rather than play it safe? Have to admit I was impressed with the day care worker who brought her charges home -- to parents who chose work over the safety of their own children. I know it's unfair to judge -- wait a minute, no it's not. Whatever happened to common sense?
